Christian Lee KO's Edward Kelly at One FC Rematch

In one of the undercards at ONE: Eternal Glory, 20-year-old Singaporean phenom Christian “The Warrior” Lee fulfilled his promise of a first-round finish in his rematch against Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly. After what many MMA analysts consider as a controversial loss last September 2018 at ONE: Beyond the Horizon, Lee made sure his effort won't go to waste.

As the opening bell rang to signal the start of the bout, Lee immediately put the pressure on Kelly. With his signature “Terminator Guillotine” choke, Lee found himself mounted on top of Kelly after several submission attempts. From here on, the Singaporean hammered down Kelly with ferocious ground and pound attack, raining down hard punches and elbows which slipped through Kelly’s defense.

Alas, referee Kemp Cheng decided that the Filipino fighter can no longer continue as he was unable to improve his position. The bout ended at 2:53 of the very first round.
