Our Filipino MMA bet made sure the Indonesian crowd still knows the word 'silence'. This came after the 28-year old DEFTAC Philippines standout Robin "Ilonggo" Catalan showed that he is way beyond his opponent, Indonesian MMA fighter Stefer "The Lion" Rahardian, completely manhandling him the entire fifteen minutes of the bout.

No question about Catalan being the much superior striker compared to the Indonesian submission specialist. But the Filipino fighter surprised the crowd when he showed his wrestling prowess, easily overcoming every takedown attempts by the much taller Rahardian.

What's more, "Ilonggo" took down "The Lion" a couple of times during the second and third rounds easily, making the crowd even more silent. Catalan's very much dominating performance endears him with the judges, awarding him a unanimous decision victory over Rahardian.

 With Catalan's performance, many Filipino MMA fans are asking for a match between him and the newly-crowned ONE Strawweight champion, Yosuke Saruta.
